The item will be repaired or replaced promptly, but you may be responsible for service charges since manufacturer's warranties cover the item you purchased but do not include fees for on site technical support. Loaner equipment is usually available for equipment purchased from KIT if your item must be returned to the manufacturer for repair, and this is usually provided to you at no additional cost. While we make every attempt to objectively evaluate all equipment we recommend, we have no control over the manufacturers who sometimes take "shortcuts" to reduce the cost of their products. This sometimes results in a product that is no longer reliable, but it make take some time for us to recognize this and remove the item from our recommended products page.
