1) Domain Name Registration

• Reserve your domain name (yourname.com, yourname.net, etc.)

• Minimum 1 year, maximum of 10 years.

• Publish your domain name and corresponding IP address on internet servers world-wide.

• Price: $25.00 per year    Note: you may be able to get your domain name registered elsewhere for a reduced rate, but doing so will significantly delay getting your website up and running since lots of paperwork will be required to have the domain name registration moved to the our server!

 2) Webhosting ( by ECTISP)

• Webhosting service  provides a static IP address which allows web surfers to see your webpages when they type your domain name in their address line.

• You basically “rent” disk drive space on a web server to store your webpage files which are viewed by surfers when they see your webpage on their screen.

• Your fee will include up to 6 email addresses which allow you to use an email address that is tied to your web address, i.e., billsmith@yourname.com.

• Our webservers also provide firewalls, virus protection and spam filters to prevent viewers from having problems when they visit your website.

• Price: $14.95 per month for level ! hosting (from ECTISP).  

 3) Website Design & Publishing

• Your website is a collection of complicated files which are downloaded to the viewer’s screen when they view your site.  Your homepage is the first page they will see and each button they click will take them to additional pages.

• There is no limit to the number of pages you can have on your website.

• Price $100 for basic homepage, $50 for second page,  $50 or less for each additional page, depending on each page’s content and layout.  Special projects are billed at a fixed hourly rate that is agreed upon before the project is started.

 4) Website Updates

• Updates to your website are always completed in a timely manner and can usually be completed within 24 hours if necessary.  Customary turnaround time is 48-72 hours, never longer unless there are special circumstances.

• Simple updates such as changing a phone number or address are usually done at no charge to you, assuming you are a regular customer of K.I.T.

• More involved or complicated changes are billed at $25/hour

Summary: in less than 5 business days, you can have your new domain name registered for a year or more, your new homepage designed and published on the world wide web with new email accounts and your total startup cost is less than $200!  All I need to get started is your billing address, preferred domain name, email account names and passwords (no, I don’t need your credit card number!).
