D&L Auto Shop is a small, independently owned auto repair shop located in the southern edge of Duncanville, near Hwy 67 and Cockrell Hill Rd. Owners Lewis Lemaster and Danny Abbott opened their business at this location over 5 years ago after working for larger repair shops most of their careers. While their shop is not a big fancy building in a shopping center, their facility and its location help them keep their overhead down so they can offer quality services at reasonable prices. I started using their service after stopping by their shop (since it is located close to my office) and meeting Danny and Lewis. The service I have received on each and every occasion is better than any I have ever had with any repair shop in the past. The owners are both very "down to earth" and easy to talk to about your automobile problems. I have never had a ticket presented to me that was one cent more than the quote I received when I left my vehicle for repairs. In fact, I have, on more than one occasion, been presented with a bill that was significantly less than I expected! Although they stay busy, they have never been too busy to fix my problem when I was in a hurry. If you ever get stranded with a vehicle problem, call them first. They will either come to your aid themselves or send a wrecker at once. And note that D&L Auto Shop is the only auto shop I have ever allowed my wife to work with on her own. You never have to worry about them taking advantage of you just because you are a female who doesn't know much about cars.
