Moving your office?
Most of us seldom encounter any task more difficult than moving our office to a new location. This task is especially difficult for the owner and office manager who are challenged to make all the arrangements and complete the task without interrupting the day to day business. There are many, many things that can go wrong and result in a major disaster, but few of them are as damaging to your business as having your phones and/or computers down for several days! Damaged walls or furniture can be repaired later, but non-functioning phones or computers can immediately bring your operation to a grinding halt!
There are two basic steps you can take to prevent such a disaster; (1) plan ahead and (2) enlist qualified, professional help.
To help you with the planning process, we have made a simple moving checklist available for you to use at no charge (Adobe Acrobat reader is required to view/print this document. Click here to obtain the free download if you don't already have it.). Check it out...we could have something on the list that you have forgotten!!
To enlist qualified, professional help, you need only call the number listed below. We have assisted others in this process for many years and will guarantee your complete satisfaction. Please call our competitors first and then call us last for a quote. And keep these points in mind:
We do not charge extra for working evenings and/or weekends. We realize this is often the best time for you to make the move to lessen the negative impact on your business.
While most companies in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area charge $125 or more per phone or computer wall outlet, we can quote you a price for the entire job that contains time and material charges, decreasing your costs by as much as 50% or more!
We can cross connect your phone lines, move your digital phone switch, install wall outlets wherever you need them, or anything else related to your telephone system. If you need additional phones for your new office, we can give you a competitive quote for almost any type of telephone.
We are network experts and can have your network moved and reinstalled quickly. If you need remote access from your home or other office locations, we can provide all the necessary software, hardware and expertise to enable those services quickly (including HIPAA compliant VPN tunnels).
Some of the "little" things we do can make a lot of difference in your move. We will do whatever is necessary to make the process go as smoothly as possible. Things like building an extra long phone cord or computer network cable can be done is minutes. And we can drill nice, clean holes in your desk or counter to route the cables so your office is less cluttered by unsightly wires running everywhere. Surface molding is available whenever necessary. All outlets are clearly labeled so you can easily determine where to plug in your phone, fax, modem, data cable, etc. and we always use UTP (unshielded twisted pair) cables for all digital phone system outlets, insuring you will have clean signals to all your telephones. This also gives us two extra pairs of phone wires in case you decide your need a fax line or modem outlet (for your electronic claims submission) added somewhere else in your new office.
All our wiring is done strictly according to local building code. You won't have any problems getting your final approval from the building inspector as far as our wiring is concerned. All wiring is electronically tested and verified to insure correct wiring sequence and a strong, clean signal for both data and voice lines. Nothing short of 100% perfection is acceptable at this step in the process.
We clean up our mess. If you are paying us to install an outlet in your office, you should be able to walk into your office after the job is complete and see a new outlet in the wall, but no other indication that we were there. And to be sure, drilling a 2" hole in a desktop using a high speed drill makes quite a mess!
We are proficient with many billing software programs such as Millbrook Paradigm, Advantix, Medisoft, Lytec, THIN, TDH Connect, Medware, etc. and can take the steps to be sure your workstations will connect to your server at the new location so you can access your patient data and schedules (such as Office Hours). We also have a strong working knowledge of accounting programs such as Peachtree Accounting and Quickbooks and can assist you with any issues or problems you might have with these programs.
